4 Ups & 7 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (May 24)

6. Nothing Segment

When The Deaners arrived in Impact a few weeks ago, they showed plenty of promise. They’re essentially Impact’s answer to WWE’s Heavy Machinery and let’s face it, we all love a bit of Otis. Not only are they great at working to an audience, but their wrestling skills are actually decent.

Then, they get thrown in segments like the one shown this week. While it wasn’t exactly terrible, it did nothing to enhance Cody and Jake’s characters. The only things we’ve learned since are that Jake really enjoyed the cheesesteaks they were eating, and Cody doesn’t take too kindly to not having a beer in his hand.

We can do without these segments going forward. Just throw them in the ring and let them do their thing.
