4 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Results & Review - 23 Oct)

3. Heat Machines, Unite!

Logan Paul Dominik Mysterio

A few months back, WWE did the unusual thing of sticking a mid-card goof and heat machine Dominik Mysterio against the ultimate babyface in Cody Rhodes, pitting two men at the opposite ends of the reaction spectrum against each other, and it was glorious.

Monday night, they tried something a bit different in sticking two giant heat machines in the ring together to see what would happen, and it was equally fun, but in a different way. Logan Paul came out to talk about how he was a free agent, so when he defeats Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel, he’ll come defend the title on Raw.

Enter Dominik to a chorus of boos (your mileage may vary on how much of that was authentic). The two had a mutual admiration society and shared in their disdain for Rey, declaring that he needed a humbling. From there, they picked on ring announcer Samantha Irvin, hazing her until Ricochet ran in for the save for his fiancée. Logan saved Dirty Dom from a Shooting Star Press, and the vile heels retreated.

Even with the crowd sweetener, it’s obvious that these two can rile up a crowd, and together they could make magic as entitled, hated villains. Maybe put a pin in this act until after the Judgment Day has run its course.
