4 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW All Out 2020

5. Stop/Start/Stop

First of all, thank God Matt Hardy is alright.

The fall he took from that lift onto the concrete floor was scary, and it was both obvious that he wasn't right after it and that referee Aubrey Edwards was genuinely concerned for his well-being. Here's the thing though: Matt doesn't need to take risks like this in 2020. He's done plenty of that big-bump sh*t to last a lifetime.

It's not a great look for AEW either that their on-site doctor appeared to stop the 'Broken Rules' (Last Man Standing) match from continuing before throwing his hands up and saying, 'Meh, go for it!'. The stoppy-starty nature of this one didn't come across well at all.

Who knows what would've happened had Matt not cracked his head on the floor, but it seemed like viewers were in for another standard brawl, and people will have forgotten this within a few weeks even with Sammy Guevara's Shane McMahon impersonation.
