WWE’s strange “storytelling” continued on Monday night, as the Hurt Business were announced as challenging the New Day for the Raw Tag Team Championship again at TLC.

This comes after New Day beat Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander twice on Raw in title matches, and then the foursome went 2-1 in several singles matches, with Cedric pinning Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston. Someone is going to have to explain how that means we get a third tag title match after two conclusive finishes.

But hey, WWE did something similar over the summer with Randy Orton and Sheamus, so this really shouldn’t be a surprise. And most likely, WWE has to pull the trigger this time, right? Because if the Hurt Business loses again, that’s got to be it for them for a good, long while.

But then again, WWE doesn’t exactly subscribe to linear storytelling these days.
