4 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (April 26)

6. Tag Champs MIA Again

Omos And AJ Styles WrestleMania 37

One of the more notable moments at WrestleMania 37 was the in-ring debut of Omos, who had spent months towering over the roster from outside the ring before he and AJ Styles won the Raw Tag Team Championship.

Three episodes of Raw later, and AJ and his personal colossus are nowhere to be seen, and haven’t been mentioned. Did they go on holiday? Did AJ get injured? (No way Omos got hurt, considering he just stood there as New Day bounced off him like ping-pong balls.) Have the writers run out of ideas for them? (Yeah, creative’s got nothing for you, champs.) Or maybe they just didn’t have enough time to squeeze them in.

Whatever the case, they need to get the champs on television, even if they aren’t wrestling again until the next PPV. You can’t crown new champs at the biggest show of the year and then go into hiding. Who do they think they are, Brock Lesnar?
