4 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 19 - Review)

7. Bloodline Goes 50/50

Roman Reigns sent the Bloodline to Raw to wreak havoc, which they did for about an hour. Then they got shoved into a couple of impromptu matches… where they went 50/50.

Sami Zayn won his match against AJ Styles with some help from Solo Sikoa. But the Usos – the longest-reigning tag team champs in WWE history – lost to Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins to close out Raw. The tag match was good, and it set Owens up for a showdown with Reigns – and his longtime friend Zayn.

But it just feels counterproductive to have your tag champs lose a nontitle match to a duo that hasn’t teamed together since before WrestleMania 38. The lazy answer is, “Well, how do you get KO over for his feud?” The reply to that is, “Then don’t book the match.”

We’re giving this a slight “down” because it’s not some huge booking fiasco. But it seems to be a booking problem for WWE: The Usos have not won a non-title tag match since July, losing four times (counting Monday) during that span). That’s a very odd stat and not something you’d expect for the Bloodline.
