4 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (March 8)

Ups…

4. A Simple Squash

Riddle Slapjack

It’s been said here before, but it bears repeating: Sometimes the simple route of having a wrestler win matches is the best route. And when you’re talking about a champion, it’s doubly true.

Riddle picked up a win over Slapjack on Monday night, defeating the masked warrior after an all-action match between the two, featuring a series of kicks, knee strikes and other high-impact moves. In the end, the United States Champion toppled his opponent with a Final Flash knee and Bro Derek.

Of course, this match preceded and set the table for next week’s US title match between Riddle and Mustafa Ali, which presumably will result in RETRIBUTION once again disappointing its leader.
