4 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (May 30)

3. Owens Loses His Mind… Again

One of the best side effects of Kevin Owens and Ezekiel’s ongoing feud has to be how Owens has just been losing his mind as everyone just accepts the newcomer as himself and definitely not a cleanshaven Elias.

Owens’ frustration has been a rare, consistent bright spot on Raw week after week, and we got another instance Monday night during the six-man tag match. KO went for a superkick and inadvertently booted teammate Chad Gable instead, which led to Ezekiel eventually getting the pinfall victory.

KO then lost it outside, thrashing about as he tore up the commentary desk and yelled a lot. Just when you thought the announcers were going to move on, Owens hurdled the desk and got in Jimmy Smith’s face for supposedly laughing about everything and once again expressing how pissed he was.

Just a perfect sell job from Owens, whose descent during this feud has actually been fun to watch.
