7. Wins And Losses Don’t Matter

Professional wrestling is supposed to be the emulation of a real sport. And in sports, wins and losses matter. But in WWE, a loss is as meaningless as can be. Lose a match? No problem, you can just get a title match a week later somehow.

In this case, Ciampa lost his bout against Mustafa Ali thanks to Theory causing a DQ, which would grant Ali a United States Championship match. Rather than hang around and dispute this or confront Theory in any way, Ciampa… just walked off.

Again, the guy just lost a match because another wrestler got involved, and Ciampa’s reaction was to head to the back. Maybe he was paid off by Theory, but that would be giving WWE too much credit here.

Instead, it’s just more proof that in WWE, wins and losses don’t matter in the slightest.
