4 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (Feb 15)

3. Where Was RETRIBUTION?

Let’s get this straight: The entire premise of the rivalry between Kofi Kingston and Mustafa Ali is that Ali feels that his injury directly led to KofiMania, with Kingston taking Ali’s spot and opportunity two years ago. And now Mustafa and his charges want revenge.

So on Monday night, with Kofi fighting for an opportunity to do it all over again and earn a spot in the Elimination Chamber again, surely RETRIBUTION would find a way to try to prevent lightning striking twice, right? Right?

Nope. Dead silence from the masked goofs.

Sure, it would have been tough to have Kingston get into the match and have RETRIBUTION retain a semblance of credibility if they did try to interfere, but to just let Kingston brag about KofiMania 2 was stupid.

The saving grace here will be if RETRIBUTION shows up in the chamber to rob Kofi of his moment. Otherwise, this will be a golden opportunity wasted.
