1. McIntyre Bashes His Way To Cheers

Money in the Bank wasn’t kind to Drew McIntyre.

No, we’re not talking about how Jinder Mahal and his heavies took him out of the match. We’re talking about how the fans Roman Reigns’ed him with a mixed reaction when he was supposed to be a pure babyface.

So McIntyre left no doubt as he attacked Jinder, Veer and Shanky with a steel chair, sending the former two scurrying before batting Shanky over and over until he broke the chair.

But wait, there’s more! The fans demanded more violence, so Drew retrieved a new chair and wore it out on Shanky, nailing another 20 shots (the fans helpfully counted along) and drawing huge cheers along the way.

No storytime with McIntyre, no forced smiling promo. Just straight anger and action from the former WWE Champion. It was exactly what was needed, and exactly what we got. The match with Jinder will still be subpar, but if it gets fans cheering for Drew again, then mission accomplished.
