4 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 18)

7. Reggie Flees Again

If the backstage scuttlebutt is to be believed, Reggie has life in WWE (and more weekly screentime than some truly exceptional wrestlers) because Vince McMahon is really entertained by his scampering ability.

And it is impressive how he can climb and jump off of almost any surface (though you’ve got guys like Ricochet and John Morrison doing absolutely nothing right now), but the simple fact is that he has shown next to no ability in the ring.

Maybe he’s training the other six days of the week Raw isn’t on TV, but we’ve literally only seen him run around in parks and backstage away from the same 24/7 geeks week in and week out. Even the rare in-ring match he’s been involved in has consisted of minimal “wrestling”, he climbed over a crate and raced around backstage, then fled when Austin Theory confronted R-Truth.

This is just a one-dimensional “joke” that has long stopped being funny, so it would be nice if WWE got the punchline here and gave this the hook.
