4 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 18)
8. Cut Your Losses
You would think after so many years that Jinder Mahal would figure out how to have a serviceable match, but it doesn’t seem to be the case.
Jinder battled Xavier Woods in a dull and sloppy King of the Ring semifinal match, though you really can’t lay the blame at the feet of a talented wrestler like Woods. Mahal plodded along with very basic moves, poorly executed, and with little drama.
It really is incredible. Most guys who have staying power figure out some way to put on a decent match, at least when they’re in there with really good opponents (the old “rise to the level of your competition” idea). But can anyone name a good match Mahal has had in the past year or so?
Sorry WWE, you might want to either cut bait or make him exclusively a tag wrestler to limit his ring time, because this was not entertaining at all.
