4 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 18)

3. Just Saying Stuff

Does anyone remotely think John Morrison’s journey to discover his mystical chi and share his innermost thoughts is going to lead anywhere?

No, it’s just some writer who probably found out that JoMo likes to meditate or something like that and decided to turn it into “his thing.” So now Morrison, a guy who could have legitimately been built up to be a world title contender or at least a secondary champion, is now a goof hanging out backstage meditating.

Oh, and the Viking Raiders are in a similar boat. Some writer heard they live a Viking lifestyle and turned that into their wrestler personae. But what do Vikings do? Oh, they raid. So that’s what we’ll have them talk about. Turkey legs and raiding.

During that backstage segment, Erik & Ivar twice asked JoMo how finding his chi would help him raid, because that’s a thing normal people talk about.

And some people criticized Kris Statlander’s character for being an “alien.”
