1. Accusations Flying

The first match on Smackdown saw Natalya take on Carmella, with Nikki Bella at ringside. This match came about as a result of TLC, where Bella beat Carmella, but immediately after the match, Carmella told her foe that Natalya was responsible for the attack on her at Survivor Series.

Prior to the match, Natalya cut a promo swearing that she wasn't responsible for the attack, and mentioning that Bella hadn't been returning her calls. Bella, on commentary, said that she didn't think Natalya was the perpetrator, but she was confused. Needless to say, that didn't make a whole lot of sense.

The match went on, and it wasn't anything special, but it was a lot better than the commentary, which mostly saw JBL accuse Bella of staging the attack. During the bout, the women fought to the outside and Natalya and Bella got into a staring match, but Natalya turned her attention to Carmella. Back in the ring, Natalya still shouted about her innocence to Bella, but Carmella rolled her up for the three. This could have been good as a straight match, but that's not what they were going for.
