4 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (May 27)
3. Bliss Is The Perfect Talker For Blake & Murphy
Alexa Bliss is taking to her new heel persona like a duck to water. Its eerie how easily her once-innocent smile has morphed into a cunning and malicious grin. Her eyes are even more engaging, radiating confidence and scheming. She also has the potential to be exactly what Blake and Murphy need right now. So far they've been fine enough workers in the ring, but they've been sorely lacking character. They seem clumsy or even dopey on the mic and the fans seem to be growing impatient with the duo. Adding Bliss to the mix as a valet/manager could be the perfect solution. After their match with rookies Elias Samson and Mike Rawlis (Bliss dropping the Sparkle Splash on one of the helpless men, in a nice heel touch), all three heels were interviewed backstage. Bliss did all the talking, while her two goons mumbled agreement, and she did very well. She bears a striking resemblance, both in looks and talking-style, with Trish Stratus, which is no small compliment. Trish did wonders for Test and Albert, perhaps Bliss can do the same for Blake and Murphy.
