4 Ups And 6 Downs From NXT Vengeance Day

2. The Least Interesting Team Won

Of the four teams in the NXT Tag Team Championship four-way match, which one did you least want to see win the titles?

It’s not that Gallus is a bad wrestling duo. It’s that they just… exist. New Day is New Day – they’re an all-time great tag team. Pretty Deadly is highly entertaining and fun. Chase U is quirky and there’s the added question of Duke Hudson’s loyalty.

Gallus is just there. And it’s not like they’re some wrestling machines that are low on personality but grind out these fun, exciting matches. It’s not like their these despicable villains that get you fired up to boo them. They just seem to take up space.

And they’re your new NXT tag champs, pinning Xavier Woods in the process. Let’s cross our fingers that they’re transitional champs to someone else, because this was a head-scratching decision from both a critic’s view and a fan’s perspective.
