5. Women Provide Bathroom Break

There was a brief period when the women’s matches on any PPV were must-see bouts. Unlike previous years where they were an opportunity to check out the concessions booth, they had become highlights at a show.

However, Sunday’s six-woman tag match pitting the Welcoming Committee against Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Naomi was about as forgettable and skippable as it could be. The most memorable part of the bout was Lynch’s fire-red Mohawk. The “action” was pedestrian – not bad, but not good either – and could have existed on SmackDown rather than PPV.

Hopefully, we will see things pick up before the next blue brand PPV, because the women on the roster have the skills and should get the chance to actually put together a good performance.
