6. Distracted Hartwell Detracts From KC's Victory

Just when you thought it was safe to invest back in NXT's women's tag division, those in the back decided that having someone throw out what in theory was a contenders bout because their mind was on an injured lover was the way to get anyone in this match over.

Staring at her wedding ring throughout her contest against Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro alongside Persia Pirotta, Indi Hartwell's absent mind frequently played into the bout, with the KC's taking advantage by routinely dissecting one half of In-Dex and tying Pirotta in knots a few times too.

Then, just when it looked like Indi had got her sh*t together, the 300th blank stare at her ring finger opened the door for Kayden and Kacy to hit an elevated splash off the top rope on The Way's daughter. But did this really convince you that the KC's were Championship material? They'd just overcome what was pretty much half a team and treated it like they'd knocked off the biggest obstacle in the division.

The victors will no doubt challenge Toxic Attraction before the year is out, but the nature of their rise hasn't exactly fired fans up for the eventual clash. And the fact the never-ending In-Dex drama is still detracting from what should be meaningful feats is as mind-numbing as ever.
