6. Ciampa Continues Weird Appearances

Maybe someday, we’ll find out the nature of Ciampa’s appearances on Raw. He continuously shows up to blindside wrestlers and attack them, sometimes fighting in a match. Unfortunately for him, he typically loses the matches.

That was the case Monday night when Ciampa attacked AJ Styles during Miz TV, which gave way to an impromptu match. What could have been a PLE match once upon a time was now simply an on-the-fly Raw match that played out to little heat – it’s tough to care about Ciampa if you’ve never been given any reason to care – and ended with Styles picking up the win.

Afterward, Miz tried to attack AJ, only to eat a Pele kick and a Styles Clash. So that must be the next feud for AJ – fighting midcard Miz. Whoopee. Meanwhile, Ciampa will continue to float about listlessly.
