Remember when the Viking Raiders were an unbeatable tandem that held the Raw Tag Team Championship for more than three months? That feels like almost a lifetime ago.

Since losing the tag titles in late January, the Raiders have been sidekicks in Kevin Owens’ battle against Seth Rollins and his cronies, but they’ve been relegated to the kickoff show of the past two PPVs.

Viking Raiders lost to The OC at Super Showdown, and then came back to defeat Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins Sunday in a match that was more competitive than it had any right to be. It’s a far cry from a tag team that was on the rise and dominating for months, but who knows?

Maybe better things are in store for them, considering they tangled with AOP later in the show.

Then again, this is the company whose boss can’t figure out how to properly utilize and monetize Ricochet.
