4 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Super Showdown 2020

2. At Least It’s Over

Hearing the announcers say, “It’s over” on more than one occasion was more than enough to give this a positive.

After Roman Reigns definitively defeated King Corbin, we were alerted that this steel cage match was indeed the end of a god-awful rivalry that has spanned more than four months and delivered numerous uninspired matches and horrific segments on SmackDown.

Thursday, it ended without dog food, without a cheap shot from a scepter, without assistance or gaga from the Usos or the King’s court… it just ended. Reigns pummeled Corbin with several Superman Punches, wrapped his fist in a chain and delivered one more that put Baron down for a 3 count.

Now, please do not have these two cross paths until at least 2022.
