4 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Super Showdown 2020

4. Another Dull Installment

Roman Reigns and King Corbin hooked it up for what felt like the 800th time Thursday night in the latest (and hopefully final) chapter of a feud that has featured chains, dog food, a guy in a dog costume, a scepter, lackeys, family and poor puns.

None of their matches have been particularly good, and Thurday’s bout was about the same. The steel cage match featured a couple slow climbs to the top and one attempt to escape through the door, and a few tosses into the cage. That was about it for the foreboding structure. They both hit each other with their usual offense, as the match plodded along.

Reigns would land a handful of Superman Punches, with the final one wrapped with a chain. And that was good enough to cap off that match – and possibly the feud.

But we had to endure one more yawner.
