Ricochet got nothing.

We all knew Brock Lesnar was walking out of his WWE Championship match with the title in hand, but the question was whether Ricochet would get to showcase some of his electrifying offense.

The answer was a resounding “Hell no.”

Brock swatted Ricochet out of the air, hit three German suplexes, and F-5 and pinned the supposed #1 contender. Just like that, Ricochet was given the Kofi Kingston “You’re really just a joke” treatment, as WWE might as well have sent James Ellsworth out there as a stand-in.

This of course followed an inspirational video package touting Ricochet’s standing as an underdog, which lasted three times as long as the match itself.

Good job, WWE.
