2. ‘Prestigious’ Tuwaiq Mountain Trophy

How many times did the announcers use the word “prestigious” to describe the Tuwaiq Trophy gauntlet match? A dozen?

If so, it was 15 times too many.

What was billed as an important gauntlet match filled with solid in-ring competitors like Andrade, AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio and Bobby Lashley was nothing more than a joke of a tourney and an utter waste of 40 minutes. It was a match won by a wrestler who wasn’t booked for the contest and featured eliminations via tripping over an opponent, knocking heads, and a DQ.

The only positive about this is that it didn’t last an hour. And the Lucite trophy looked kinda cool.
