4 Ups And Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (Mar 5)
3. Kidd And Cesaro Continue To Roll
It could be argued that the current WWE Tag Team Champions (Tyson Kidd & Cesaro) are the best act on the main WWE roster right now. They've been teaming together for about four months, they already captured the Tag Team Titles and it looks like their momentum is continuing. You know how one of the biggest complaints of fans is that champions lose non-title matches too often? This week on Smackdown, Kidd & Cesaro looked very good as they beat Los Matadores. If that match was a loss for the champs it would have been depressing. What was also cool about the match was that Natalya took care of El Torito outside the ring when he tried to get involved. Last week it looked like Natalya was turning heel and that continued this week. It's not a full heel turn, though. It's more of an angle where she's supporting her husband Kidd even though he is mean to her sometimes. They won the tag match with their Cesaro Swing into a Kidd dropkick move, which may not be their usual finisher although it was enough to beat Los Matadores. Hopefully the plan is to do Kidd/Cesaro vs. The Usos at WrestleMania. The girls can be at ringside. It doesn't need to be a six person tag. Just let the teams do their thing in a 15-20 minute match. It will be a classic.
