By the end of 2009, Cena had established his reputation as the top dog in WWE. He'd rarely lose matches, and if he did, it would be against other big names. So imagine the WTF reaction in December 2009, when he jobbed his WWE Title to a wrestler who had only been on the main roster for less than six months. In fact, Sheamus had only been on Raw from October onwards, having originally started in ECW that June. He'd gone from nobody, to WWE Champion, in almost no time. The match was a TLC bout, with Cena falling through a table. It was so unbelievable, that some fans actually thought it had been botch.
