After King Barrett is eliminated by Sin Cara and Big E is taken out by Jey Uso, Xavier and Kofi decide to cut their losses, grabbing a dazed Big E and carting him off to the backstage area, counting themselves out and leaving poor Sheamus to take on Jey Uso, Kalisto and Ryback all by himself. The unfortunate by-product of New Day leaving is that they pretty much made Sheamus the face of the match by default, not that it helped much, as Ryback soon enough nailed him with a terrible Shellshock to bring the match to an end.
