The show peaked just 25 minutes in with what is easily the most insane and impressive spot of not just the show but possibly the entire year. Kalisto somehow nails the Salida del Sol on Jey Uso from the top of the ladder, crashing through another ladder below and sending pretty much the entire crowd and the Internet Wrestling Community into a frenzy. It's one of those "how did they do that!?" moments that you need to rewatch again and again, so here it is for your viewing pleasure. If ever the "this is awesome!" chant felt truly apt, this was it.
32. Xavier Interferes, Helps New Day Retain The Titles
Just as it looks like the Lucha Dragons are about to win, Xavier abandons his commentary post, noting that the match is no disqualifications, grabbing his trombone and throwing it at Kalisto, causing him to fall from the ladder. This gives Kofi Kingston enough time to climb the ladder unimpeded and grab the titles, retaining the straps for the team. It's just ridiculous that Xavier spent more than 15 minutes just sat at the commentator's table when he could've just been involved in the match from the start and essentially made it a handicap bout for their opponents. Still, it all worked out for them in the end, right?
