SoCal Uncensored appeared in the first match of the pay-per-view broadcast at Double or Nothing, taking on Strong Hearts in a six-man tag team encounter. The group is the latest association of Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels, who have been partners on and off since coming together as part of TNA’s Fourtune stable in 2011. Having competed as Bad Influence and The Addiction, they became SoCal Uncensored after adding Scorpio Sky to their ranks in 2018.

Sky, an independent veteran that has spent time in TNA, New Japan, Ring Of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerilla (PWG) and Championship Wrestling From Hollywood amongst others, made a handful of appearances on WWE programming in 2012. Part of the storyline that involved Daniel Bryan and Kane attending anger management classes and emerging as future tag team champions Team Hell No, Sky portrayed Harold, having previously appeared as a plant in the crowd alongside Joey Ryan at Summerslam.

WWE publicly distanced themselves from him in late 2012 after he made anti-gay comments on Twitter, but were happy enough to use him again at Summerslam once more in 2013, where he was a firefighter in the brutally maligned ‘Ring Of Fire’ match between Bray Wyatt and Kane.

Now part of one of the most consistently entertaining stables on the independent wrestling circuit, Sky and his compatriots will undoubtably soon be putting on great matches with other groups entering AEW’s tag team scene, such as the Young Bucks and Best Friends.
