4. Ryback Gets Screwed...Again

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdt52TJQJmU&t=39m50s It seemed very forced when it happened at Hell in a Cell, but you can let the WWE get away with it once, when they had Ryback get screwed during his match to in effect "protect" his reputation and not make him look weak. However, the WWE lazily recycled the same idea at the Survivor Series, with him being assaulted by three men and put through a table, so CM Punk could pin Cena without Ryback looking like a chump. Keeping Ryback's reputation in tact is clearly not something the WWE has thought through particularly well moving forward, for if this is the method they are going to defer to every time, then by the time Ryback actually gets to win the belt, we're just not going to give a damn. It would have made more sense for Ryback to, say, get dropkicked out of the ring, and Punk to get a quick, fluke pin on Cena, fleeing before Ryback has the chance to do anything; it makes it seem as though Punk got through by the skin of his teeth, rather than by having Ryback get screwed over at every turn. It's boring, predictable, and moreover, just lazy from a writing perspective. If they do this for a third time, they'll probably have used up all of our good will for this angle.
