There is something about Paul Reubens, a.k.a. Pee-wee Herman that really manages to elicit cheers from the crowd. Despite being known for a show targeted at very young children, Pee-wee managed to make the RAW crowd smile. So in a nutshell, Pee-wee Herman came down to the ring and began using the same antics he used on his show, Pee-wees Playhouse. These included a secret word that would cause the audience to yell as loud as possible (the secret word was ring, because, of course it was), insulting the Miz, making juvenile jokes (I know you are, but what am I?), and interrupting Alex Riley every time he spoke. Yet somehow, this was supposed to be funny. What made Pee-wee good as a guest host was his acting. He genuinely behaved like a wrestling character; he bought into the Mizs really shtick, acted in an outlandish manner, and somehow convinced the Big Show to dress like him, and then take out both Miz and Alex Riley. Even though it was a juvenile segment that really made some people shake their heads in embarrassment at what RAW had become, Pee-wee Herman still did his best to entertain the fans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3e6Uz2-rMQ I guess it was the nostalgia factor that really got the audience factor going. Many fans had at some point grown up watching Pee-wee Herman, so it mustve been nice for him to show up to RAW. Still a better angle than El Torito vs. Hornswoggle as a mini Gator, though.
