5 Best Opponents For Sting's Retirement Match At WWE WrestleMania 32

2 John Cena

John Cena is the franchise of this generation of WWE superstars. He€™s been on top for over ten years, is the only star to really draw ratings and moves an insane amount of merchandise. With that in mind, it would only make sense that at the biggest WrestleMania of all time, he faced off against the franchise of WCW in one final battle for The Icon to see who€™s the best 'franchise' player.

€œNobody is better in a big match situation€ is the way Jim Ross once described John Cena and I€™d tend to agree. When The Champ is on his game, he€™s one of the best. If he€™s given the task of giving Sting one last memorable match, I€™d be confident in his abilities to make it happen. He€™d sell the importance of The Stinger and the match in his promos & make it feel like the main event level match it would be.

Longtime viewers and adult fans are clearly going to side with Sting here, which is a situation Cena is all too familiar with. The two men could trade all their big moves, from the Scorpion Death Drop to the AA in a match which, on paper, looks suited to the stadium atmosphere.
