5 Best Opponents For Sting's Retirement Match At WWE WrestleMania 32

1. The Undertaker

Did you expect number it to be anyone else?

Sting versus The Undertaker is a match people have talked about for years and years. The Phenom of WWF against The Icon of WCW. The Urn and The Baseball Bat.

Remember in 2011 when Sting was talking about signing a deal with WWE & many fans speculated that the 2-21-11 promos were about the WCW man coming in to feud with the Undertaker in the run-up to WrestleMania XXVII? It wasn't meant to be, but the excitement over the prospect was evident.

When Undertaker came back at WrestleMania 31, myself and many others were pretty disappointed in the match with Bray Wyatt. I was greatly looking forward to the match and it just let me down. Suddenly, Sting versus The Undertaker didn't sound too exciting to me.

That€™s until The Dead Man had two great matches with Brock Lesnar, anyway. These two performances proved that 'Taker can still go and a match with Sting at Mania could be one for the ages.

There are two keys to this match being a success. Firstly, WWE have to learn how to tell a story again, so that each week there€™s another chapter. Not one week where Sting comes out, stares at Undertaker, they stare at a sign and that€™s your build. This is a feud that deserves so much more attention. Multiple appearances, mind games, theatrics, tension...we want it all.

Secondly, the match has to have the twists and turns you€™d want from a big time WrestleMania match. Get all the bells and whistles you can from a Kane run in to a DDP Diamond Cutter save, whatever you need to make the match memorable. With almost 60 years experience between them, this could be a genuine classic. It€™s the one dream match that could still realistically happen.

What better way for Sting to hang up the trench coat than squaring off against The Undertaker in front of 100,000 fans in Dallas, TX? A dream match storybook ending for one of the greatest of all-time.
