Roman Reigns is not the happy hero Vince McMahon would like him to be, but he is probably going to be WWE Universal Champion by the time WrestleMania 35 rolls around. If Reigns does beat Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam this year and hold onto that belt going into early 2019, then he's a lock to face The Rock.

Even Reigns' biggest critics must see at least some value in a match between he and Mr. Johnson on WWE's biggest stage. Like it or not, Roman is here to stay at the top of the card, and it's not as though he's known for having bad matches. In fact, he might even bring the best out of Rocky at 'Mania.

If WWE's writers can weave some sort of fractured respect angle into the story, then they'll be onto a winner. The Rock is one of wrestling's greatest talkers (obviously), and so he'd have to carry that side of things pre-match. Come crunch time however, Reigns would be more than capable of matching Rock's in-ring fire.
