5 Best WWE Returns Of 2020 (So Far)
2. The Undertaker - Elimination Chamber 2020
The Undertaker has technically had two returns this year because, after showing up at Super ShowDown to destroy AJ Styles and claim the trophy we haven't heard a thing about since, he 'unexpectedly' made his presence felt weeks later when he returned again at Elimination Chamber to - yep, you guessed it! - destroy AJ Styles.
At this point, we knew 'Taker was coming back to kick off a WrestleMania program with 'The Face That Runs This Place', we just didn't know when. So when that gong sounded at Elimination Chamber, you can rest assured that the WWE Universe watching at home reacted exactly like the audience in attendance.
A quicker, to-the-point and far more effective method of furthering the story, 'Taker's arrive-Chokeslam-and-leave approach was a much more jaw-dropping moment than the pair's match-that-never-was in the tournament-that-didn't-make-sense, and it was an excellent way of continuing their program while giving Aleister Black the victory over Styles that he so desperately needed.
Perhaps the last time we'll see 'The Deadman' return from the darkness to attack someone as an active competitor, it was still as awe-inspiring as ever.
