5 Best WWE Returns Of 2020 (So Far)

1. Edge - Royal Rumble 2020

It's hard to describe the feeling of awe that completely overcame me when Edge's signature 'You Think You Know Me' intro sounded at the Royal Rumble. If you watched it, you probably felt it too: An urge to get to your feet and absolutely lose your mind like the audience watching it in the arena because, yes, in spite of his career-threatening injury, his premature retirement and his near-decade away from the ring, Edge had returned.

The Rated-R Superstar's powerful return earlier this year was eerily reminiscent to his return at the very same event a decade earlier, but this one carried much more emotional gravity with it. And yet, as Edge made his way down that ramp, called for his signature fireworks and unleashed Spears on anyone that bah gawd moves, it suddenly felt like it was 2010 all over again.

It's moments like this that remind us all why we love wrestling, it's moments like this that make the impossible seem less so, and it's moments like this that prove that: yeah sometimes anything can happen in the WWE.

2020 may have been short on goosebump-inducing returns thus far, but this is one that will live forever.
