Its hard to deny that it was great seeing The Miz and John Morrison win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Not only did it give an event too comfortable with the status quo one of its few significant changes, it felt like a well-earned milestone in Morrison's WWE return and a strong way to ensure that he and The Miz reestablish their dominance as the 'Most Must-See Tag Team' in WWE.

That being said, as the pair's reunion (and their feud with The New Day) was clearly building to that eventual win, it wouldn't have been too out-there to expect them to leave a milestone as significant as that to WrestleMania given that it's only a few weeks away.

There was nothing particularly wrong with the moment itself and the last half of the match was great, but a WrestleMania Tag Titles victory would have been the icing on the cake for John Morrison's WWE return as it would have given the 'Shaman of Sexy' a WrestleMania moment to remember.

Again, Miz and Morrison might still get one, but a predictably successful title defense isn't quite as game-changing as long-awaited title win.
