5 Biggest Missed Opportunities From WWE Super ShowDown 2020

3. Not Letting The King Corbin/Roman Reigns Feud Die Before Now

In yet another edition of Baron Corbin feuds that nobody asked for, the King has been battling Roman Reigns in a tiresome saga over the last few months that, in spite of a few solid moments here and there, has been anything but royal. And it all led to a far-too-long-but-surprisingly-decent Falls Count Anywhere match at the Royal Rumble that should have ended it then and there.

Yet, bafflingly, the-powers-that-be decided to resurrect it again for Super ShowDown as the brawling 'Big Dogs' battled in a Steel Cage match... and, well, it's clear that we all would have been better if they hadn't.

For all its faults, the reason that the Falls Count Anywhere match between these two worked was because it was a gimmick that benefited both superstars, allowing them to hide behind said gimmick and battle anywhere and everywhere in the arena. A Steel Cage match, however, does not.

With that in mind, we had to sit and watch these two - who, by the way, lack any real kind of in-ring chemistry - go through the motions inside that cage as they attempted to wrestle a decent match while restricted to the one area. Yeah, well, they failed as even the match's respectable 12 minute-length felt never-ending.

Wouldn't it have been better to find something else - anything else - for Roman Reigns than this? Seriously, Super ShowDown would have been better off without this one altogether.
