During the NXT Takeover pre-show, live on the WWE Network, Michael Cole sat down with Tyson Kidd and his wife, Natalya. After Natalyas continual interruptions and voicing her disapproval of Coles line of questioning, Kidd told Michael that yes, he has experienced some hiccups along the way. However, he is determined to get his career back on track and that it all started with dethroning Adrian Neville and taking the NXT championship away from him. However, as Michael Cole argued, without a victory at Takeover, Tyson Kidd would forever flounder and simply be known as Natalyas husband. After the aforementioned incredible bout but disappointing loss, the Canadian grappler had to be questioning his worth. As Adrian Neville celebrated with his NXT title inside the ring, Kidd sulked in the corner, visibly ridiculing himself. It was a hard fought contest, but a loss nonetheless. And despite putting on a tremendous show of effort, will his failure to achieve the important win halt Tysons career where it stands? As Neville extended his hand in a show of respect, Kidd shoved past his opponent -- leaving the ring in a huff. It would seem that Tyson Kidd may be doubting his own career at this point. Maybe, like Michael Cole, he too thinks he will now simply be known as Natalyas husband. Its a disrespectful and diminishing thought, but it may become a reality if Tyson is unable to get his career and mindset back on track.
