5 Biggest Winners & Losers From WWE Hell In A Cell 2016

4. Winners: Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows

Nobody needed a victory more than Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows last night. The duo have descended to farce on Raw, and their credibility is at an all-time low. They’ve won a couple of inconsequential television matches here and there, but they’ve regularly been found lacking when the chips are down, and the omens weren’t good heading into last night.

Raw saw Enzo Amore defeat Anderson in just a couple of minutes, and for a while, it looked like another loss was on the cards. Instead, Anderson & Gallows rallied to eliminate Big Cass, isolate Enzo, and walk away with their first WWE PPV victory. There’s a strong chance the rivalry will continue over the coming weeks, but for now, Anderson & Gallows have the babyfaces in their back pockets.

It’d be premature to call this a resurgence, however. Anderson & Gallows have been dealt a great deal of damage throughout their WWE run, and it’ll take more than a single victory to make them feel like genuine threats in the tag division. Beating Enzo & Cass is a great start, though, and dropping the tiresome comedy act and reverting to their no-nonsense, ass-kicking personas is exactly what they needed to do.
