Bayley’s main roster call-up was long overdue, but it’s finally happening. Having long-since exhausted her long-term options in NXT, the former developmental Women’s Champion had to stick around at Full Sail University to conclude her business with Asuka and help hold fort until the likes of Billie Kay and Ember Moon were ready to fill her spot. Those events have now come to pass, and after receiving a huge pop for her Battleground appearance, Bayley is finally a full-time Raw roster member.

Introduced by Mick Folley, Bayley interrupted Charlotte and Dana Brooke’s title celebration to challenge for the two-time champion’s newly-regained belt. Charlotte being Charlotte threw Dana Brooke at her, and while the match wasn’t anything special, it was great to finally see Bayley in a Raw ring, and she walked away with a straightforward victory.

Bayley will presumably step into the spot made available by Sasha Banks’ injury. Her and Charlotte know each other very well from their time in NXT, and after wrestling each other on countless occasions in the past, there’s little to suggest their rivalry won’t be great. Bayley is great in this title-chasing role, and with Charlotte reinstated as the dominant, entitled champion, this should be another fun story in Raw’s women’s division.
