2. Loser: Bayley

Bayley has fallen off immensely since slipping out of the Raw Women’s Title scene. She took a hard pinfall at Clash of Champions, partook in an unconvincing (and unnecessarily competitive) match with a local talent last week, and now looks set for a long-term programme with Dana Brooke. Last night saw Charlotte’s sidekick pin Bayley after posting her on the top rope, and neither woman impressed.

Brooke’s offense isn’t good at all. She’s sloppy and uncoordinated in the ring, and while WWE apparently see her as the division’s long-term star, it’s quite clear that she’s not ready for this level of exposure. Bayley couldn’t drag her to a good match last night, and in losing to someone with so little polish, the former NXT Women’s Champion has slipped far down the ladder.

Bayley’s lucky that there isn’t much going on in Raw’s women’s division outside her, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks, because she’d be near the bottom of the pile otherwise. She remains immensely popular and one of the company’s best wrestlers, but in terms of momentum, Bayley is dead at the moment. Unfortunately, she suffers from a lack of quality opposition, because if she’s not wrestling Sasha and Charlotte, she’s working with duds like Dana.
