5 Booking Decisions WWE Would Be Crazy NOT To Make After Royal Rumble 2020

Halfway through the Rumble, it became clear what the story was; Lesnar eliminating everyone so fast he barely needed two moves for each. This is how the red-faced one would make it to the final bell, and Vince's words emanating from Michael Cole at that very moment seemed to confirm it.

"I don't wanna hear anybody say anything about Brock Lesnar not defending titles, not, you know, spending any time, not wrestling when he needs to wrestle."

When McIntyre entered, a weary crowd crossed their fingers and hoped the big Scot would at least be allowed some offence before being sacrificed to The Beast. Then he Claymore'd Brock's head off and stared him down until Lesnar clambered to his feet and staggered from the arena, the crowd taunting all the way.

Already blatantly going to face Brock for the title at WrestleMania, the question now becomes if Drew can take down The Conquerer without a groin-oriented assist from Ricochet. That story becomes more interesting if Money In The Bank takes place before WrestleMania this year, with Drew the winner.

Built up to look like an extra life for McIntyre when he faces Lesnar, the briefcase shouldn't actually make an appearance in that match. Drew should beat Brock cleanly in the centre of the ring, becoming the WWE Champion at WrestleMania, and walking out with his title and the contract intact. And then, as Roman is finally pinned by a Fiend that has been taken to his supernatural limits, McIntyre's music hits and the cash-in occurs.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
