5 Booking Decisions WWE Would Be Crazy NOT To Make After Royal Rumble 2020

Love it or hate it (and there's only one side of the argument even giving that second option) Charlotte Flair was the last woman standing in a Royal Rumble that came down to The Queen versus The Queen of Spades. Eliminating the beast that Shayna Baszler was made to be in the match, Charlotte stood tall with a main event title shot at WrestleMania.

Been there, done that, but perhaps that's the point. Charlotte has been there and done that. She's main-evented WrestleMania before. She's beaten both Bayley and Becky before. Do you know what Charlotte Flair hasn't done? Beaten Rhea Ripley. In the run up to Survivor Series, Ripley took a clean victory over The Queen that Charlotte was unable to repay in the elimination matches on the night.

Having Charlotte show up at the end of TakeOver: Portland to declare her challenge for the NXT Championship would be a huge surprise for the crowd and make headlines around the world, bringing in more eyes to NXT as they go head to head with AEW through 2020. If Charlotte actually took the title, then she's already got two ready-made challengers in the form of Bianca Belair and Shayna Baszler, both of whom had monster showings in the Royal Rumble, eliminating fifteen women between the two of them. And that's before Rhea even thinks about a rematch.

Make it happen, booker man.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
