5 Casting Ideas For WWE Legends House Season 2

3. World Championship Wrestling Alumni

What if a full cast of ECW wrestlers is too much of a risk, but WWE still wants to step outside the box at least a little bit? That is where World Championship Wrestling and, by extension, the New World Order come into play. WCW has a rich roster to pick from that includes every type of star you could ask for. There are huge names in the industry such as Sting, Ric Flair, Vader and Lex Luger. There are plenty of trusted members of the WWE family such as Booker T, Dusty Rhodes, Fit Finlay, Billy Kidman and Arn Anderson. Then, there are the colorful characters like Disco Inferno, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Alex Wright and Buff Bagwell to add into the mix. The list goes on and on, which means this could end up being a theme for multiple seasons as opposed to just one group. While WCW and WWE at one time couldn't be further apart from each other, they are now under the same umbrella and that makes its history just as valid to draw from as WWE's. There's no reason to limit the Legends House casting decisions strictly to people that wrestled in a WWE ring during their career. They have just as many good stories to tell and just as interesting personalities to showcase. Would there be any friction with former NWO members like Kevin Nash, who had supposedly rubbed people the wrong way during his tenure? How would a lighthearted guy like Diamond Dallas Page get along with someone that has a completely different demeanor like Dean Malenko? This could be a great insight into the minds of the people that were on the opposing side of the Monday Night Wars.
