5 Current WWE Angles That Are Going NOWHERE

3. Shinsuke's Nak-America

Presumably, once WWE realised they didn't want to give Shinsuke Nakamura the WWE Title, someone piped up during a meeting and suggested the old xenophobia chestnut. That'll get folks excited, right? A pesky foreigner coming over here, stealing our United States Championship and then draping the stars and stripes across his body.

How very dare he. This isn't 'Nak-America', it's the US of A, damn it.

It's not really working as a heat-seeking device, and it doesn't look like Shinsuke's heart is in this particular storyline either. He's one million miles away from garnering the same reactions he was as a beloved babyface on NXT, and he's barely even getting the same attention he did when ball-shotting AJ Styles like a man possessed from WrestleMania onwards.

This hurts to write, and yet it's true. Nakamura is starting to turn into Kenzo Suzuki 2.0, and we all know how that one turned out. WWE must find him a manager who can sort the promo problem and stop with this old-timey attitude that people will hate Shinsuke because he happens to be Japanese.
