Well, we called this article "5 Dream Fights for Brock Lesnar" right? We didn't say they had to be likely. The UFC pursued this fight hard, and it's really only in the past couple of years that we found out how close they came to landing it. However, after the death of Emelianenko's father, he retired for good - and so did Lesnar. It's a shame. If they could ever sign both, even for a one-off, we'd still watch it. What say you, fight fans? Who would you like to see Lesnar step in the cage with, were he ever to return?
