5 Game-Changing Ideas WWE Is Considering For The Network

3. Broadcasting Other Promotions

WWE has expressed an interest in broadcasting several other wrestling shows on the Network. Listed in the survey are companies such as: ICW, PROGRESS, Ring of Honor, and NJPW.

Thanks to the United Kingdom Championship Tournament, WWE currently has many wrestlers appearing on NXT who have worked for companies like ICW and PROGRESS, most notably, the UK champ, Pete Dunne. Having stars that can shift across several shows helps keep a good working relationship between WWE and the indies, and utilising inter-promotional performers can keep the rosters fresh, giving us the chance to see new feuds and dream matches.

What's more, being given the opportunity to watch other promotions that don't necessarily have a streaming service or a broadcasting partner in the USA would greatly appeal to wrestling fans looking for something different. The British and Japanese scenes have never been so hot, but they aren't easily accessible for everyone. Putting new shows under one streaming service can keep current subscribers happy, and would even bring new ones into the fold.
