House shows tend to be done in front of smaller, more intimate crowds. There's a bigger focus on the in-ring action, and significantly less time spent on the mic, meaning that for those of us that fast forward through promos and backstage segments, a chance to watch these live events is a blessing.

Live events tend to have higher calibre matches than televised shows as the bookers realise no one is going to shell out their money to watch jobbers get squashed, or to see a programme that doesn't move any of the stories along. That means we're more likely to see better in-ring action than what we usually see on Raw or SmackDown Live.
